There are two main traditional broiler farming models:
One is the ground raising: spread a layer of soft bedding such as rice husk on the ground of the poultry house, and the broiler breeding management is raised on the bedding;
Disadvantages: The ground cools the chickens and causes symptoms such as diarrhea, and direct contact between chickens and chicken manure is not conducive to the control of intestinal diseases, especially colibacillosis and coccidiosis.
The second is online horizontal rearing: this method is to raise broilers on a net bed, because the chance of direct contact of broilers with feces and pollutants is reduced, and the incidence rate is greatly reduced.
Disadvantages: The manure is cleaned only once for a batch of chickens, which will leave a lot of harmful gases such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide in the chicken house.
