Antibiotics: commonly used chlortetracycline, bacitracin zinc, etc., mainly used to promote the growth of calves. Usage: The dosage of chlortetracycline is 30-70 mg per day for 3-6 month old calves, and it is added to the feed to be fed; the addition amount of bacitracin zinc per kilogram of mixture is 10-100 mg for 3 month old calves , 4-6 months old is 4-40 mg.
Sodium bicarbonate: Regulate rumen pH, increase appetite, promote cattle health, and improve production performance. The addition of fattening beef cattle is 1.5% of the concentrate mix.
Monensin: It can promote the reproduction of ciliates and beneficial microorganisms in the rumen, inhibit the formation of methane, and improve the feed conversion rate and protein utilization rate. Usage: increase according to the prescribed amount and mix it evenly with the concentrate. Feed once a day, 60 mg of pure product per head per day within a week, and gradually increase to the standard prescribed amount of 100-360 mg after a week.
Rare earth: It is a kind of feed additive for beef cattle with good feeding effect and high economic benefit. Usage: Add 8-10 grams per day for fattening beef cattle, and feed it in 3 times. Mix a small amount of concentrate before feeding, and then gradually expand the mixing to ensure uniformity.
Zeolite: It can absorb harmful gas in the gastrointestinal tract of cattle, and slowly release the adsorbed ammonium ions, which can be used to synthesize bacterial protein by microorganisms in the rumen of cattle, improve the digestibility of feed nutrients by cattle, and provide a variety of trace elements for cattle. Usage: The usual amount is 4-6% of beef cattle concentrate mixture or 1.5-2.5% of the diet.
