1. Improve the mating rate and conception rate of cows. Adjust the proportion of age-appropriate cows, strengthen feeding, do a good job in estrus identification, timely insemination, treatment of cow infertility, and timely weaning of calves.
2. Improve the survival rate of calves. Strengthen the breeding of pregnant cows, milk the calving cows appropriately, enable the calves to eat the right amount of breast milk, and ensure normal development. The calves should be weaned as soon as possible and grazing concentrated to promote estrus and breeding.
3. Prevent miscarriage. It is necessary to be familiar with the mating date and expected date of delivery of pregnant cows. It is strictly forbidden to beat and chase pregnant cows, and be careful not to crowd and prevent miscarriage when entering and leaving the pen.
4. Actively treat reproductive dysfunction. For cows that are in abnormal estrus and have not seen estrus within 60 days after delivery, the reproductive system should be checked in time. Cows diagnosed with reproductive system dysfunction should be treated in time.
5. Promote the application of reproduction technology. At present, cow estrus, breeding, pregnancy, childbirth, weaning and breeding of calves have more mature control technologies, such as induction of estrus, artificial insemination with frozen semen. Induction of twins, green embryo transplantation, sex control, induction of labor, etc., can quickly increase the reproductive efficiency of cattle, especially good breed cattle.
